Below is a breakdown of the funds received and how they have been utilized to transform lives within Ndithini Division and beyond.
1. Organizational Capacity Building – April 2023 (KES 800,000)
Funder: Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF)
This grant was aimed at strengthening our organization by enhancing staff and board capacity through training and resource mobilization. It also supported our beekeeping training programs, which empower local farmers with sustainable farming techniques. These efforts have boosted internal operations and service delivery to the community.
2. Revolving Fund – April 2021 (KES 2,000,000)
Funder: USADF
Amid the global COVID-19 pandemic, NCDA received this grant to boost our revolving fund, enabling us to issue loans to our members when access to finances was critical. This initiative provided a lifeline to many of our community members whose livelihoods had been adversely affected by the pandemic.
3. Endowment Fund – March 2019 (KES 1,000,000)
Funder: Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF)
This endowment fund was invested through KCDF, and its annual interest has been dedicated to supporting education within Ndithini Division. Students benefit from scholarships, bursaries, and learning materials, ensuring continuous access to quality education.
4. Support for Digitization – July 2018 (KES 10,000,000)

In a rapidly digitizing world, NCDA prioritized digitization with this funding, which enabled us to acquire an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, computers, and servers. These tools have transformed our operational efficiency and allowed us to provide enhanced services to our members.
5. Support for Education Program – April 2018 (KES 6,578,400)
Funder: Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF)
This funding helped in building and upgrading the infrastructure of schools within Ndithini Division. Libraries, classrooms, and dormitories were constructed and renovated, creating conducive learning environments for students to thrive.
6. Support for Education Program – April 2017 (KES 3,459,650)
Funder: Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF)
Focused on education, this grant facilitated the provision of essential learning materials like books and uniforms to schools in the division. This initiative ensured that no student was left behind due to the lack of basic educational necessities.
Through these generous contributions, NCDA has been able to deliver life-changing programs and initiatives across various sectors. Each funding stream has played a critical role in empowering our community members, ensuring sustainable development, and building a better future for all.
We remain committed to transparency, impact, and continuous growth, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to all our partners for making this journey possible.
